Bravecto Plus for Cats
Broad-Spectrum Parasite Protection for Cats
Bravecto Plus for Cats provides convenient, long-lasting protection against several important external and internal parasites in one easy-to-apply spot-on treatment.
Unlike products that target only fleas and ticks, Bravecto Plus combines fluralaner and moxidectin to provide protection against fleas, ticks, heartworm larvae, ear mites, roundworms and hookworms.
One application of Bravecto Plus for Cats provides up to 3 months of flea and tick protection, helping reduce the need for monthly treatments and making routine parasite control easier to manage.

Flea Protection
Bravecto Plus for Cats treats flea infestations caused by Ctenocephalides felis and provides persistent flea-killing activity for up to 3 months.
The treatment kills newly emerged fleas before they can produce viable eggs. This helps interrupt the flea life cycle and reduce environmental flea contamination in areas where your cat sleeps, rests and spends time.
Bravecto Plus may also be used as part of a management programme for cats affected by Flea Allergy Dermatitis.
Tick Protection
A single application provides approximately 3 months of tick protection.
Fleas and ticks need to attach and begin feeding before they are exposed to fluralaner. Once exposed, the active ingredient acts against the parasites and helps protect your cat from ongoing infestation.
Worming Support
One of the advantages of Bravecto Plus for Cats is that it combines external parasite control with treatment of selected intestinal worms.
It treats:
- Toxocara cati roundworms
- Ancylostoma tubaeforme hookworms
It is effective against several developmental stages of these worms, including larvae, immature adults and adults.
Does Bravecto Plus Treat Tapeworm?
No. Bravecto Plus for Cats does not provide established treatment against tapeworms.
If your cat requires tapeworm treatment, an additional suitable worming treatment may be necessary. Consult your veterinarian for advice on an appropriate parasite-control programme.
Ear Mite Treatment
Bravecto Plus is also registered for the treatment of Otodectes cynotis, commonly known as ear mites.
Cats with persistent scratching, head shaking, dark ear discharge or irritated ears should be examined by a veterinarian, as several different ear conditions can produce similar symptoms.
Heartworm Prevention
Moxidectin helps prevent heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis by targeting developing heartworm larvae.
One treatment provides heartworm prevention for approximately 3 months.
Bravecto Plus does not treat existing adult heartworms. Cats living in or travelling to heartworm-risk areas may require veterinary assessment before beginning preventative treatment.
Active Ingredients
Each 1ml contains:
- Fluralaner: 280mg
