HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Small & Mini Dry Dog Food Chicken Flavour – 1.5kg

HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Small & Mini is a complete dry dog food developed specifically for adult small and mini breed dogs that need help reaching or maintaining a healthier body weight. It is suitable for dogs from 1 year of age that weigh up to approximately 10kg when fully grown and are slightly overweight or have a tendency to gain weight.

The chicken recipe combines high-quality protein with a high-fibre nutritional profile, L-carnitine and coconut oil to support healthy metabolism and body condition while helping maintain lean muscle. The smaller kibble is also designed with little mouths in mind.

Keen Pets stocks the 1.5kg HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Small & Mini, while the wider Dry Dog Food range includes the larger 6kg option and other Hill’s weight-management formulas.

Weight management for small and mini dogs

Small dogs may not need a large quantity of food, but even a relatively small amount of excess body fat can make a noticeable difference to their body condition and everyday comfort.

HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Small & Mini is formulated to provide complete everyday nutrition while helping dogs achieve and maintain a healthier weight. Hill’s describes Perfect Weight as clinically proven nutrition for healthy weight management and for helping keep the weight off once an appropriate body condition has been reached.

How HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Small & Mini supports a healthy weight

Hill’s developed Perfect Weight around research into the biological differences between lean and overweight pets. The formula combines high protein and fibre with L-carnitine and coconut oil to support normal metabolism and healthy body weight.

Protein helps maintain lean body tissue, while fibre supports controlled feeding and helps provide bulk to the diet. Prebiotic fibres also provide nutritional support for the digestive system.

This makes HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Small & Mini a useful long-term option for little dogs that gain weight easily, including many sterilised or less-active adults.

Composition

The current Hill’s South African formulation contains:

Wheat, maize protein meal, chicken and turkey meal (chicken 9%; total poultry 14%), pea bran meal, maize, digest, dried tomato pomace, cellulose, flaxseed, animal fat, dried beet pulp, coconut oil, minerals and dried carrots.

The combination of poultry protein, fibre-rich ingredients and targeted nutrients provides a complete adult diet while helping control calorie intake.
