Make Mealtime More Appealing

Some dogs are enthusiastic about every meal. Others will inspect their bowl, look at you and apparently request to speak to the chef.

Pets Elite Liver Sprinkle 90g offers a simple way to make familiar food more tempting without replacing your dog’s regular diet. Beef liver has a distinctive, meaty flavour that can encourage interest in meals, especially when a dog has become bored with its usual kibble.

Sprinkling the finely prepared liver over food also helps distribute the flavour throughout the bowl. It is particularly convenient for households where a whole chew or large treat is not the right choice.

Loss of appetite can indicate illness, dental pain or other health problems. If your dog refuses food repeatedly or shows other symptoms, consult a veterinarian rather than relying on a topper.

Single-Ingredient Beef Liver

The published ingredient declaration is beef liver. The product is described as dehydrated, grain-free and wheat-free, without added artificial flavourants or colourants.

Liver is naturally nutrient-dense and contains protein alongside naturally occurring vitamins and minerals. However, it is also naturally rich in vitamin A, so regular generous portions are not advisable.

The sprinkle is a complementary treat, not a complete and balanced dog food. Continue feeding an appropriate main diet for your dog’s age, size and nutritional requirements.

Feeding and Serving Suggestions

The published guidance suggests sprinkling approximately one teaspoon over your dog’s meal for extra flavour.

Start with a smaller amount for little dogs or dogs trying liver for the first time. Adjust portions to suit body size, dietary needs and the number of other treats offered.

For sensible feeding, treats and toppers should generally supply no more than 10% of daily calories. Always provide fresh drinking water.

You can use Pets Elite Liver Sprinkle as a kibble topper, mix it into wet food or add a light dusting to a suitable enrichment meal. Avoid using it to mask food that has spoiled.

Storage and Precautions

Keep the tub closed in a cool, dry place away from moisture and sunlight. Use clean, dry utensils and follow the label’s best-before and storage instructions.

Avoid giving this beef-based topper to dogs with a diagnosed beef allergy. Dogs on therapeutic diets or other medically controlled feeding plans should only receive it with veterinary approval.
