Description

Antezole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic formulated for cats (and also available in formulations for dogs) to treat and control intestinal worm infestations, including roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms.

Active Ingredients & Composition

• Each tablet contains: Praziquantel 20 mg and Pyrantel pamoate 230 mg.

• Some formulations (e.g., paste or liquid) designed for both dogs and cats may contain additional actives such as fenbendazole along with praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate. Canine 

Indications

• Treatment of roundworm (ascarids) and hookworm infestations in cats.

• Treatment of tapeworm infestations in cats, when the appropriate formulation is used.

• Safe for use in kittens and adult cats as indicated.

Dosage & Administration

• For the tablet version: Typically 1 tablet per 4 kg body mass. For smaller cats:

  • Under 1 kg: ¼ tablet

  • 1–2 kg: ½ tablet

  • 2–4 kg: 1 tablet

  • 4–6 kg: 1½ tablets.
