Seresto uses an advanced polymer matrix system that stores the active ingredients within the collar. These are slowly and continuously released using your cat’s natural skin oils, spreading across the coat to provide head-to-tail protection.

Active Ingredients

• Imidacloprid (1.25 g) – kills adult fleas and flea larvae

• Flumethrin (0.56 g) – repels and kills ticks at all life stages

Both ingredients work through contact, meaning parasites do not need to bite your cat for the collar to be effective.

How Fast Does Seresto Flea and Tick Control Collar Cats?

• Existing fleas are killed within 48 hours

• New fleas are killed within 24 hours after 48 hours of wear

• Existing ticks may take up to 48 hours to be killed

• New ticks are actively repelled and killed after 48 hours

For cats with heavy infestations, a fast-acting treatment may be used alongside Seresto as advised by your vet.

Easy to Apply

1. Remove the collar from the protective pouch just before use.

2. Unroll and remove plastic connectors inside the collar.

3. Fit around your cat’s neck, allowing space for two fingers.

4. Trim excess length, leaving approximately 2 cm beyond the loop.

5. Check and adjust regularly, especially for growing kittens.
