Weight management for adult medium breed dogs

Maintaining a healthy weight is an important part of long-term health. Carrying excess body fat can place additional strain on joints, reduce activity levels and make everyday movement more difficult.

HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Medium is formulated to provide fewer calories while still supplying complete everyday nutrition. Hill’s describes the formula as providing safe and effective weight loss with visible results, together with long-lasting weight support once the target condition has been reached.

How HILL’S Adult Perfect Weight Medium works

Hill’s developed Perfect Weight using research into the biological differences between lean and overweight pets. The result is a nutritional approach that combines high protein and fibre with L-carnitine and coconut oil to help support metabolism and healthy body weight.

Protein helps preserve lean body tissue during weight management, while fibre helps dogs feel satisfied on a controlled energy intake. Prebiotic fibres also provide nutritional support for the digestive system.

Composition

The current formulation contains:

Chicken and turkey meal (chicken 10%; total poultry 15%), maize, maize protein meal, pea bran meal, wheat, broken rice, cellulose, digest, dried tomato pomace, flaxseed, animal fat, dried beet pulp, coconut oil (2.2%), minerals and dried carrots.

The recipe is also supplemented with vitamins, L-carnitine, trace elements and beta-carotene.
