MaxiMulti RAW Multivitamin for Raw-Fed Dogs and Cats
MaxiMulti RAW is a nutritional vitamin, mineral and amino acid supplement developed specifically for dogs and cats fed a raw diet. Raw feeding can provide many naturally occurring nutrients, but the exact nutritional profile depends on the ingredients and proportions used. This formula is designed to help supply vitamins, minerals and trace elements that may be needed in addition to a raw feeding programme, while providing extra taurine and L-carnitine.
The balanced powder contains a broad spectrum of fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins together with essential minerals and selected amino acids. It can be incorporated into a pet’s normal raw-food routine to provide consistent nutritional support for immune function, cellular health, bones and general wellbeing.
Nutritional Support Designed for Raw Feeding
A homemade or individually prepared raw diet can differ significantly from meal to meal. Meat supplies excellent protein and naturally occurring amino acids, but feeding meat alone does not automatically provide every vitamin and mineral a dog or cat requires in the correct proportions.
This supplement has therefore been formulated specifically with raw-fed pets in mind. Rather than simply adding a generic multivitamin to the diet, the formula balances vitamins, minerals and trace elements while recognising that raw meat already provides many amino acids naturally.
It should be used as a nutritional aid rather than as a replacement for a properly balanced diet. If you prepare your pet’s raw food at home, particularly for a growing puppy or kitten, pregnant animal or pet with a medical condition, veterinary or qualified animal-nutrition guidance is recommended.
Vitamins for Everyday Health
The vitamin blend includes Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, pantothenic acid, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Vitamin B2, niacin, Vitamin B9 and choline chloride.
These nutrients support numerous normal functions within the body, including energy metabolism, immune function, nervous-system health and maintenance of skin, tissues and bones. The blend is intended to complement the nutrients naturally provided by a raw diet rather than replace good-quality food ingredients.
Minerals and Trace Elements
The mineral blend includes potassium chloride, copper, magnesium, iodine, zinc, selenium, calcium, iron and manganese.
Although some trace elements are required only in very small quantities, they remain important for normal cellular function and overall nutrition. Minerals also contribute to normal bone structure, nutrient utilisation and many of the body’s everyday metabolic processes.
Taurine and L-Carnitine
One of the distinguishing features of MaxiMulti RAW is its higher inclusion of taurine and L-carnitine.
Taurine is an important amino acid-like nutrient, particularly for cats, which have a specific dietary requirement for taurine. L-carnitine is involved in normal energy metabolism and the transport of fatty acids within cells.
The formula also contains arginine, lysine, methionine, tryptophan, threonine, leucine and histidine. These are included alongside the naturally occurring amino acids supplied by raw meat.
Feeding Guidelines
Manufacturer literature lists a feeding rate of 1 g per 2 kg of bodyweight per dose.
For the first 10 days, give the calculated amount twice daily. After the first 10 days, give the same calculated amount once daily. The product may be fed every day for as long as clinically required.
| Bodyweight | Amount per dose |
|---|---|
| 2 kg | 1 g |
| 5 kg | 2.5 g |
| 10 kg | 5 g |
| 20 kg | 10 g |
| 30 kg | 15 g |
| 40 kg | 20 g |
| 50 kg | 25 g |
For body weights not shown, calculate the amount at 1 g per 2 kg body weight.
How to Use
The current SafriPharma directions advise mixing the recommended amount of powder thoroughly into lukewarm water until dissolved, allowing the mixture to thicken and cool, and then pouring it over your pet’s food.
Always follow the directions on the current product packaging if they differ from older manufacturer literature.

*May be fed everyday, for as long as clinically needed.
